This project to replacement an existing Fire Station required firstly a feasibility study to locate and select a suitable site which was found in a business park (former industrial estate) close to the Isle of Man’s Ronaldsway Airport and between the two main centres of population the facility is to serve.
The building is composed of two parts, a single storey appliance bay and a two storey accommodation block which are expressed in the form and external materials.
